Front yard creates the first impression, but the backyard landscaping is the sanctuary for the home owner to escape from the rat race, sinking into the clouds of heavenly creation of his or her personal space.
The tips of expressing backyard landscaping elements is with the balance of simplicity and consistency to create a harmony sense of equality. Because of the larger space in the backyard, you are free to incorporate your ideas more easily to include an entertainment, playground, water features and even the edible garden.
Backyard landscaping ideas are limitless. Sometimes it is worthwhile to hire a professional to establish the basic features and you can branch out from there if hard labor is not your cup of tea. After all, this serenity living space should be a pleasure to you not punishment.
Backyard landscaping can turn a barren backyard into a comfortable enticing outdoor space for your whole family. Some elaborated design can include a fire pit with entertainment area with cozy seating area and an outdoor kitchen and bar, etc.
You can accentuate the backyard landscaping with potted flower, plants, palms and bamboo to design an aura of seclusion with ambient lighting. If you have the taste for fancier appearance, throw in a gauze-draped gazebo.
Here are some of my favorite tips to create an adventure of Alice in the Wonderland backyard landscaping: –
Create an impression from the entrance into your yard like a trellis with enormous potted plants on each side. If space permits, make a curved trail into the yard.
Block the view of your water feature or center piece of your showcase plant with the curved trail around it. It is like a puzzle to stimulate your visitor interest into your backyard. Preferably, the trail should be made from crushed rocks, gravels, or wood chips. If you want a flat path, you can lay brick or flag stone.
Set out some cozy seating at the end of the trail to rest and relax like a tranquility peaceful spot. Arranged some potted plans and colorful flowers around the edge with a fire pit in the center. If you plan well, you could have built flower beds with rocks and boulders in the surrounding plus a deck with barbeque grill to the side.
I personally like fountains. I find that very relaxing to the sound of water trailing from the top to the bottom layer. It is gorgeous and peaceful to look at especially with the accent of flowers and plants. Install a nice sound system to play soothing music, scented candles at strategic location or essential oil diffuser to enhance your experience.
There are lighted fountains that look magnificent at night if you would like to add the feature to your backyard landscaping design. The other option is the wall fountains and I guarantee that it will make your backyard landscaping style hike up a notch and be the envy of your friends.
